PA Medical Marijuana Portal Not Working? Here's How to Fix It

The Pennsylvania Department of Health medical marijuana portal causes more headaches than almost anything else in the program. You're not alone — we help patients fix portal problems every single day.

Here's how to solve the most common issues.

Can't Log In

Forgot your password? Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page. The reset email sometimes goes to spam — check there first.

Forgot your username? Your username is usually your email address. If you used a different username, try the "Forgot Username" option.

Account locked? Too many failed login attempts will lock you out. Wait 30 minutes and try again, or call the PA DOH helpline at 888-733-5595.

Never created an account? If you're a new patient, you need to register first at padohmmp.custhelp.com before your doctor can certify you.

Payment Not Going Through

Card declined? The state system is picky. Try a different card, or make sure your billing address matches exactly what's on file with your bank.

"No payment due" message? This means you've already paid for this cycle, or you're not yet within the payment window. Your payment is due around the same time as your card expiration date.

Applied for a fee waiver? If you qualify for Medicaid, SNAP, WIC, PACE, or CHIP, you can request a fee waiver instead of paying the $50. This is done in the portal under "Make Payment."

Address Issues

Card going to the wrong address? The state mails your card to whatever address is in your Profile Settings — not what's on your ID. Log in and update it before your certification.

Moved recently? Update your address in the portal AND make sure your PA driver's license or state ID reflects your new address. The state requires these to match.

Certification Not Showing Up

Doctor certified you but portal doesn't show it? Give it a few hours. Sometimes there's a delay between when the doctor submits and when the state system updates.

Still nothing after 24 hours? Contact us. There may have been an issue on the submission side that we can fix quickly.
